On the Budjaka Peninsula, Cape Kolokita, in the Sozopolis V.S., Prof. Nikolay Mihailov and the Executive Director of the Trace for People Foundation, Desislava Ljubenova, built a monument to St. Nicolas the Miracleworker. The sculpture is Lubomir Lazarov. The monument stands 3.50 meters high and is cast from bronze with gilding. The consecration of the first Bulgarian sculpture of St. Nicholas was performed by Metropolitan Ioanaki of Sliven in ministry with Metropolitan Grigoriy of Veliko Tarnovo and Metropolitan Anthony of Western and Central Europe.
